Migrante

Mexico City

Migrante: stylish, delicious, small-portions, celebratory.

For my birthday, I visited Migrante, a trendy spot with a sleek, industrial vibe and an open kitchen on the second floor. The food was delicious, though the portions were quite small. It’s an excellent choice for special occasions—they even treated us to complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate!

Here’s a rundown of everything we ordered at Migrante:

  • Ostras frescas – Fresh and flavorful, a perfect start.
  • Mini sandwich de alcachofas – A small bite packed with rich, earthy flavors.
  • Crudo de pesca del día (🙌🏻) – The star of the meal! Fresh, light, and beautifully presented.
  • Ensalada de jaiba – A refreshing dish with delicate flavors.
  • Pato madurado (🙌🏻) – Another highlight! Tender, savory, and full of depth.
  • Pollo tierno – Soft, juicy, and well-seasoned.
  • Cordero en tres cocciones – A standout for lamb lovers, expertly cooked in three different ways.
  • Lots of dessert!! – We couldn’t resist indulging in several sweet treats to wrap up the night.

Every dish was carefully crafted, with the crudo and pato standing out as must-tries. Perfect for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
